We need to remember that people being paid for their work directly as contracted performers aren’t all that different form those who are in a relationship, making their own porn together and making money off of it through subscriptions or sales. The means and timing of the payment may be different, and those who are making and disseminating the porn themselves may be more directly implicated in the development and growth of their work, but that doesn’t necessarily change the impetus for shooting.
