In the first four months of this year, more than a hundred trans people were murdered, according to data compiled by the Transgender Violence Tracking Portal. Much of this violence is fuelled by the same impulses expressed by so-called radical feminists to police gender and dictate the terms of acceptable womanhood. Transgender issues are feminist issues. A feminist who uses hateful logic to deny trans people rights and resources isn’t a feminist.
